Get to know Forest Hill
Forest Hill is an area in the district of Lewisham in south east London. The name derives from the forest with the big hill. Today it is a bustling built up area with plenty of residential areas, schools and shops. Some roads are tree lined and are lucky to have a good view over the city of London and the wonderful views of the skyscrapers. The Horniman museum is one of the most famous sights and has various collections of art and an aquarium, as well as gardens, animal area and a grade II listed conservatory. The main postal areas are SE23, and it has good road, bus, and train and tube links. There are two nature reserves Dacres Wood and Devonshire Road Nature Reserve.
