A Bit about Wallington
In the London Borough of Sutton in the SM6 postcode district is the town of Wallington, hailed for its position as housing three grammar schools that have made a significant contribution to Sutton’s top performance in education in the country. Some important landmarks in the area include Guy Portelli’s sculpture of the ‘English Lavender’ in the town centre, which is a tribute to when Wallington was a centre of importance in lavender production, and there is a memorial to remember the ones who died during the world wars too. Wallington is very well connected by coach, railway, and bus links.
