What we do
Look to Beckton for a Comfortable Life!
Beckton is a residential area located in the London borough of Newham. It has London’s E6 post code, and is adjacent to the River Thames. It’s served by the London Docklands Light Railway, and has seen significant housing developments in recent years. This means that there’s plenty of places to live - and that is a great positive, but there’s lots to talk about outside of that. While there are lots of modern housing in Beckton, there are also some Victorian era homes that remain - these give parts of Beckton a rustic charm. On the other hand, there are also modern shopping centres outside of the residential areas - so there is no shortage of areas to shop until you drop. In terms of transport, the Docklands Light Railway serves Beckton station, and is connected to Canning Town, Stratford International and Tower Gateway. In addition to this there’s buses aplenty, and Beckton itself is close enough to London City Airport for it to be convenient, but not close enough to be a detriment. Beckton started out as unpopulated marshland, but over time it’s become a key residential district. It really is worth a look.
