Camden & Its Trendy Hang-Outs
The popular district of Camden can be found in northwest London just 2.4 miles away from the central area of Charing Cross. Served by the Camden Town tube stop on the Northern Line and the Camden Road over-ground station, it is within zone 2 of London’s transport districts. With a strong industrial history, it is now a bustling tourist hub that covers the NW1, N1 and WC1 postcode districts. Camden Lock is one of the most popular spots in the area and has a famous market with many tourist stalls. The Buck Street, Stables, Camden Lock village and Electric Ballroom markets are also popular with residents and visitors alike and make this area an alternative and trendy place to hang out. As well as being a great hotspot for market-lovers, the area also has a well-known music scene with a strong indie vibe. As a result, there a large number of fashionable pubs and bars where you may even spot a celebrity or two. The surrounding areas also worth visiting and include the affluent Belsize Park and the grassland areas of Hampstead Heath. Euston, Mornington Crescent, Chalk Town and Kentish Town can also be found close to Finchley Road and Gospel Oak.
