What we do
Friern Barnet - lovely living
Friern Barnet is one of those settlements that border the edge of what is collectively thought of as London. It sits right between well known London residences like Muswell Hill and East Finitely, and their more rural neighbors, like Whetstone and Oakleigh Park. There is no doubt that the area provides excellent crosses between London life and a little more relaxation in terms of the pace of living. The area is a large one and it spans the post codes N10, N11 and N12, though it is all within the Borough of Barnet. Barnet is one of the largest North London boroughs, extending prety far north towards Hertfordshire, Oxford and Buckinghamshire. The Area plays host to some wonderful open spaces like Friary Park, and the Coppets wood nature reserve, which protects certain species of bats. The area is well serviced by the North Circular road, which is an excellent connection to the city and surrounding areas by car. However, the area does not have a dedicated rail station, and instead residents must use nearby Arnos Grove and Finchely Central for underground access.
