Greenford is part of the Ealing Borough of London, and is served by the post code area denoted by ‘UB’. Originally a historical part of Middlesex, the area is thought to have been the ‘product of legends’ as the saying goes. Its west London location makes it a popular suburb with a lot of residential housing, naturally, local industry has been developed to serve those residents. There are small shopping streets with bars, cafes and restaurants as well as cinemas and other places to relax. Ravenor Park is a beautiful place to get some fresh air, and is a very popular park, serving as the site of the Greenford Carnival, which happens in July every year. The region is easily accessible, with Sudbury Hill close to the Piccadilly line, and Greenford station on the central line. There are first great western train services running from both Greenford and South Greenford stations as well, for easy access to the rest of the country. As far as landmarks and attractions go, the area is particularly well-stocked for those of a historical persuasion. The Heritage centre has many exhibitions of British domestic history, and the area hosts London’s only motorcycle museum.
