Here's Some Key Rednal Area Information
Rednal is a quiet suburb on the south western edge of Birmingham. It's located about nine miles south-west of the city centre, and is part of the Longbridge electoral ward. One of the most interesting things about Rednal is its geographical location. The village is at the feet of three hilltops called The Lickeys. The summits of these hills form the Lickey Ridge, which is a formation of hard quartzite. This information makes these hills an area of high geological importance, and the views from the top are striking to say the least. The country park at the foot of these hills is one of the oldest in Birmingham, and is well worth a visit!
