A Beautiful Place to live In
London has countless boroughs, with one of the most popular (residentially speaking anyway) being Richmond upon Thames. The district is a key element within London’s outer reaches and is the only borough in London that actually features on both sides of the River Thames. What regularly brings tourists to the Borough is its array of landmarks; these include Kew Gardens, Twickenham Stadium, Hampton Court Palace, WWT London Wetlands Centre, and the National Physical Laboratory. Having such a booming population and pivotal landmarks means that transport within Richmond upon Thames is certainly a big deal. The Borough is notoriously well-connected; London Underground stations like Richmond and Kew Gardens run through the area along with several London Overground stations. The roads aren’t neglected either, as not only do some of London’s main roads run through the region, but there are over 30 day bus routes and 2 night bus routes in operation in the area. Internationally speaking Richmond upon Thames is twinned with Fontainebleau in France, Konstanz in Germany, and their namesake town in Richmond, Virginia, United States. If the outskirts of London have taken your fancy from a residential perspective, be sure to cast your eye over Richmond upon Thames.
