Explore the Beauty of Sanderstead
Sanderstead is a village based in the London Borough of Croydon. It serves mostly as a dormitory village for all the commuters to Croydon and central London. One of the most interesting buildings in the area is the All Saints’ Church. On the edge of the village you can see the site of the Old Saw Mill. It is now home to lots of private residences. It serves also as a picturesque setting for the Sanderstead Cricket Club. Sanderstead railway station was opened in 1884 and nowadays it has trains to central London and East Croydon. Riddlesdown and Purley Oaks railway stations also serve the area.
