The Hale - Old Houses and Modern Housing
The Hale forms a part of the London Borough of Barnet and is home to the NW7 and HA8 postcodes. The Hale has a rich history, with many of its buildings dating as far back as the 1800s. One of its most notable buildings is the Grade II-listed John Keble Church, a modernist style building heralding from the early 1900s. Neighbouring places include Scratchwood, Edgware and Mill Hill. The Mill Hill Broadway station is the area’s closest railway station following the closure of the Mill Hill station in 1939. Being a short walk from the centre of The Hale means it is easy to access for fast transportation.
