A Brief but Useful Guide on Newington
Placed in the London Borough of Southwark, Newington is an area close to the heart of London city centre. The district features many streets which offer restaurants, pubs, cafés and retail outlets. The area also has a long history dating back to Saxon reign. There are currently numerous places of worship, predominantly Christian churches. Neighbouring areas include: Walworth, Vauxhall, Kennington and Bermondsey. The nearest railway stations are Elephant and Castle and London Bridge. There are also nearby tube stations – Kennington, Borough, Lambeth North, London Bridge and Elephant and Castle.
