What we do
Enjoy a Stroll through St Margarets
Found in the Borough of Richmond upon Thames, West London, St Margarets is a suburban area nestled in a bend of the River Thames, with the River Crane defining its north-western boundary and Richmond Road – its southern one. The name of the area comes from St Margaret’s House, a country house that once stood here. There are a number of buildings from the Victorian era still standing in St Margarets, in addition to a few listed buildings, like the Grade II* listed Sandycoombe Lodge, the Grade II listed Gordon House and the Grade II listed Church of St Margaret of Scotland. The neighbouring areas include East Twickenham, Richmond, Isleworth and Twickenham, as well as the Marble Hill House and Park, and the local St Margarets station has rail services to Waterloo station.
