A Concise Look at Chelmsford
Located about 30 miles outside of the centre of London, Chelmsford is a town in the county of Essex. It is a popular location for visitors thanks to its interesting history, having been a location of properties held by King Henry XII, and Robert I of Scotland. It has also been an integral part of industrial history and was the location of several well-known companies including Britvic, radio manufacturer Marconi, and the English Electric Valve Company. Today, it remains a popular location for local businesses, but also offers attractions for visitors, including High Chelmer Shopping Centre, Chelmsford Cathedral, and Hylands House and Park. The area is well served by public transport, with an extensive bus network and good train links into London, as well as quick access to motorways and local towns.
