What we do
A bit about Edgware
Edgware is a district in the outer north of London. It has its own commercial centre, suburban streets, a farm and woodland on top of a high ridge. It is one of London’s 35 major centres. Edgware is mostly a shopping and residential area. It has a major shopping centre – The Broadwalk –, a library, a hospital and two important streams that eventually connect to the River Brent. The area also has plenty of schools for all ages and development needs. There are plenty of green spaces in the area. In addition the Basin lake is located to the west of Edgware. To the far north of Edgware, the grassland of Edgewarebury Parkis is situated and offers a wonderful escape from the city and wide open expanses of green space. In the summer, it is popular with residents to relax and enjoy some warm, summer days. Throughout the rest of the year, it is popular with dog walkers and sport enthusiasts as well as runners. Transport in the area includes connections at the tube via Edgware Station on the Northern line and numerous bus services. The area itself is a calm district yet with plenty of amenities such as hospitals and shopping centres within walking distance. Edgware is well-organised and structured with a mix of traditional buildings and a modern vibe.
