Interesting Places throughout Longbridge
Longbridge is a ward within the Northfield district. The area is situated in south-west Birmingham, England and it is home to many institutions. The area is famous for the Longbridge plant which was opened in 1905. Bournville College of Further Education and its campus are also important for the Longbridge area, allowing more than 15 000 students to benefit from plenty of modern and sophisticated facilities. The Longbridge Technology Park (completed in 2007) turned the place where Bristol Road meets Longbridge Lane into a business park. Younger residents of Longbridge enjoy the Factory Young People's Centre with its media and music suites, a sports hall, dance studio and a lot of workshops and games areas.
